Abridged C. S. Lews, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

After Marcus finished this classic C. S. Lewis unabridged novel, Gabriella wanted to read it too. I was able to find this lovely abridged version for her. It was the perfect amount of reading (definitely longer in parts) and was true to the original story. She enjoyed the illustrations too!

The High Rise Private Eyes

Gabriella happened upon this series at the library and asked if she could check some out. The reading level varies from book to book, but I would say it's on an average 1st - 3rd grade reading level. This reader series features detectives and best friends Bunny Brown and raccoon Jack Jones.

The books average about 50 pages and Lella reads them rather quickly. She has requested more!
